Job Summary:

Rio Grande Regional Hospital is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team at ER 24/7 Edinburg, Texas.

Emergency Medicine Candidates can expect the following criteria

Qualified Candidates:
BE/BC in Emergency Medicine or FM/IM with Emergency Medicine Experience

Incentives/Benefits:
  • 11,000 Annual volume
  • Up to 120 hours per month available
  • 24 hours of physician coverage
  • 12-hour shifts
  • Independent Contractor Status
  • Malpractice Insurance with tail coverage provided

Facility Information:
  • Our freestanding emergency room in Edinburg, TX is an extension of our main facility Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen, TX.
  • Affiliation with Rio Grande Regional Hospital makes direct admission when necessary to the hospital simple and seamless
  • 11 private treatment rooms and a highly specialized trauma room
  • 6% admission rate
  • Meditech EMR
  • Blood Work processed on the on-site lab
  • CT scan, ultrasound, and X-rays completed on site
