Emergency Medicine Physician

Coverage Needed:

• November 1, 2025 - Ongoing
• Minimum 5 shifts per month
• Mon-Wed: 7a-5p, 10a-8p, 3p-1a, 4p-12a, 8p-7a; Thurs-Sun: 7a-5p, 10a-9p, 4p-2a, 8p-7a

Clinical Details:

• Annual Volume: Approximately 49,500
• Patients Per Day: About 135
• EMS Percentage: 30%
• Admitted Patients Percentage: 22%
• Scribe Coverage: Yes, 10 hours per day
• ED Beds: 42
• Backup Specialties: Robust backup specialties on site
• EMR System: Meditech, transitioning to EPIC in March 2025

Requirements:

• ABEM, AOBEM, or ABFM. If FM trained, must show proof of ED work in the past 2 years
• Residency: Must have completed an EM or FM residency
• ATLS: Required for FM trained but not EM
• ACLS & PALS
• Active LA License or IMLC
