Emergency Medicine - Community Memorial Hospital PRN Attending Physician - M89519 45001418 South Hill, Virginia, United States Faculty Health Sciences Clinical Faculty MCVP School Of Medicine MBU Add to favorites View favorites Department: Emergency Medicine - Community Memorial Hospital - PRN Attending Physician Chief Purpose of this Position: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our dynamic Emergency Medicine team as an hourly Emergency Medicine physician at our VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital in South Hill, VA. VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital sees 25,000 patients per year. The candidate will contribute to our mission of providing exceptional patient care and high-quality education in Emergency Medicine Duties & Responsibilities: Clinical - Provide excellent clinical care by demonstrating proficiency in the evaluation, diagnosis and management of a wide range of acute medical and traumatic conditions. Provide efficient, high-quality patient care that reflects current professional practice norms and skills and is consistent with accepted utilization guidelines. Quality/Safety - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and promote patient safety and satisfaction. Administrative - Contribute to administrative and leadership responsibilities within the department, fostering a positive work environment and supporting the growth of Emergency Medicine services. Required Qualifications: Unrestricted Virginia Medical license or ability to qualify for one Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine; Fellowship training and/or additional subspecialty certification is desirable. Demonstrated a commitment to excellence in clinical care, education and research within the field of Emergency Medicine. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team. Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
