Job Summary:

HCA Florida Englewood Hospital is searching for a Part Time Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant) to join our prestigious practice in Englewood, Florida.

 

Qualified Candidates:

·        Must be board-certified by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)

·        Must have at least 12 months of current and consecutive Emergency Medicine experience as an APP

·        Must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

·        Position requires availability for an average of 87 hours per month, with the expectation of increased workload during peak seasonal demands and decreased workload during non-peak seasonal demands

Emergency Department:

·        22,000 annual ED volume

·        18-bed ED with 12 fast-track treatment chairs

·        Single Physician coverage (7A-7P, 7P-7A)

·        Average 10-12-hours/day APP coverage

·        EMR: P-Doc Documentation and Meditech with M*Modal Dictation
