Pay is dependent on applicants relevant experienceThis position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote optionSummaryResponds to calls for emergency medical services and provides patient care as directed andor determined necessary.ResponsibilitiesNavigates and drives ambulance to and from scenes and treatment centers. Provides stabilization of scene and requests additional assistance as necessary.Determines nature and extent of illness or injury and patients history from available sources.Administers emergency medical care within scope of practice including patient stabilization monitoring and resuscitation from thesceneto receiving medical facility.Contacts medical personnel reportsrecords observations and follows directives from supervising Physician or Registered Nurse.Maintains equipment restocks supplies and cleans ambulance as necessary.Within scope of job requires critical thinking skills decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.RequirementsMinimum Required Education HS Diploma or GED. IV Certification if required at the position level.Required LicensureCertification National Certification as determined at position level. Basic Life Support BLS Healthcare Provider. Current State Licensure as an EMT. Valid Drivers License. Relevant certification as determined at position level.Minimum Experience None Required.ADDITIONAL POSITION LEVEL CREDENTIAL INFORMATION Current and Active National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician certification within 1 year of hire. ADDITIONAL POSITION LEVEL EDUCATION INFORMATION IV course completion certificate required upon hire.BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
