Position Summary
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join our growing team. As an EMT with Northwest Ambulance, you will provide pre-hospital and interfacility care, transport patients safely, and represent our organization with professionalism and heart.
What You'll Do
As an NWA EMT, your core responsibilities will include:
- Policy & Protocol Compliance - Strictly follow Northwest Ambulance policies, procedures, and County Medical Protocols.
- Timely Task & Documentation Completion - Efficiently complete assigned duties and submit required paperwork promptly.
- Punctuality & Attentiveness - Report to shifts on time and remain alert, focused, and engaged throughout each call.
- Accurate Documentation - Ensure the accuracy of all patient and operational records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Patient Safety - Identify and mitigate potential risks to patient safety in accordance with established procedures.
- Safe Vehicle Operation - Operate the ambulance safely and responsibly, in full compliance with Washington State laws and company regulations.
- Team Collaboration - Partner with dispatchers, leadership, and crew members to deliver compassionate, timely care-especially during unexpected or high-pressure situations.
- Integrity & Service Excellence - Act with integrity, support the mission and values of Northwest Ambulance, and consistently exceed patient and customer expectations.
- Professional Appearance - Maintain a clean, polished appearance and uphold high uniform standards.
- Vehicle Readiness - Keep the ambulance clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout every shift.
