We are seeking motivated and compassionate EMT-Basics to join our EMS team providing both emergent and non-emergent interfacility transports (IFTs) across South Texas. Skilled nursing facility (SNF) emergencies
Hospital discharges and facility transfers
Critical care transports (assist role as applicable)
Stryker PowerPro XT stretchers
LIFEPAK 15 monitors
Sapphire IV pumps
Ventec VOCSN ventilators
Vapotherm high-flow oxygen therapy systems
Video laryngoscopy systems
iGel supraglottic airways
Ford Transit ambulances
Dodge ProMaster ambulances
Type III ambulances with power-load systems
Provide basic emergency medical care and first aid within EMT-B scope of practice
Safely operate ambulances in emergency and non-emergency conditions
Assist paramedics and healthcare providers during patient care and transport
Perform patient assessment and report findings accurately
Safely move, immobilize, and transport patients
Maintain accurate ePCR documentation
Clean, restock, and disinfect ambulances and equipment after each transport
Ensure vehicle readiness and report maintenance or equipment issues
Follow all EMS protocols, safety standards, and clinical guidelines
Participate in ongoing training and skills development
Calm and effective under pressure
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to adapt in fast-paced clinical environments
Strong attention to safety and detail
High school diploma or GED
Current Texas EMT certification
Current BLS certification
Valid Texas driver's license with acceptable driving record
Ability to meet physical demands of the role
Ability to lift and/or move up to 150 lbs (up to 300 lbs with assistance)
Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing
Ability to work in high-stress environments including loud noises, low light, extreme weather, and confined spaces
$17.00 - $21.50 per hour
Expected 36-48 hours per week
