HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is located outside of Jacksonville FL in the suburb of Orange Park FL and is located on Kingsley Avenue.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Emergency Management Services (EMS) Coordinator acts as a liaison between area Emergency Medical Services (EMS) providers and related departments of Orange Park Hospital. 

What you will do:

  • Serve as an advocate of the hospital with local, regional, and state EMS agencies.
  • Assist with hospital disaster preparedness recommendations.
  • Develop and implement a business plan, driving service line growth, and improving operations in terms of quality and processes.
  • Ensure collaboration across all care settings within the facility as it relates to EMS. 
  • Attend Advisory Meetings for both local (North Florida) and state that are scheduled in Jacksonville Area
  • Develop quality reviews in collaboration with CCFR and JFRD
  • Schedule ride-along program and station visits with key Orange Park Hospital stakeholders
  • Maintain EMS breakrooms in compliance with all rules and regulations
  • Assist with EMS recognition to foster a positive relationship. 

What qualifications you will need:
  • Paramedic Training and EMT-P (Paramedic) certification in the state of Florida
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 5 to 8 years related experience with field experience included.
  • Incident Command Course completion preferred.
  • Preferred experience includes ED and Firefighter, Law Enforcement, and Disaster Management.
