The Regional Hospital Training Center (HTC) Coordinator will oversee the operation of the HTC, based at Albany Medical Center (AMC). This position will collaborate with the New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH) and the regional preparedness coalition partners to facilitate and support preparedness training, as described in the NYS DOH HTC grant deliverables. This position will assure that the grant deliverables are met within the required time frames, and that reports are completed as scheduled by NYS DOH. This is a grant-funded position. The current HTC contract includes 4 annual renewals, ending June 30, 2027. Renewals are dependent upon satisfactory performance and continued funding, as determined by NYS DOH. At the end of that contract period, it is anticipated that AMC will apply for an additional 5-year contracts as they are announced by NYS DOH.
