    Emergency Maintenance Supervisor

    LOCATION: Ambridge - Pennsylvania - USA

    DEPARTMENT: INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS

    Purpose

    The Emergency Maintenance Group Supervisor is responsible for minimizing production downtime by ensuring accurate failure diagnosis and timely execution of corrective maintenance activities. The role leads and supervises maintenance personnel during day-to-day operations and breakdown events, ensuring safe, efficient, and disciplined execution of work. It supports equipment availability and reliability while maintaining full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Supervise and lead a team of 4-6 maintenance technicians during daily operations, breakdowns, and scheduled work.
    • Assign, prioritize, and monitor maintenance activities to ensure timely and effective execution.
    • Direct troubleshooting and failure analysis to restore equipment operation.
    • Coordinate maintenance activities with production and external service providers.
    • Ensure accurate work orders and equipment history in CMMS systems.
    • Support reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Ensure compliance with HSE standards and safe work practices; report and support incident investigations.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Experience supervising maintenance teams (2+ people) in industrial manufacturing, with direct responsibility for daily work execution
    • Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting capability in industrial equipment
    • Hands-on experience coordinating corrective maintenance and managing breakdown response
    • Experience using CMMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) for work orders and reporting
    • Working knowledge of HSE requirements and safe work practices in industrial environments
    • Technical degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Electromechanical fields preferred
    • Ability to work in industrial conditions, including climbing, lifting, and rotating 12-hour shifts (day/night)
