    Looking for a Per Diem shift where you’re more than just a number? Our Emergency Department team is known for its compassionate leadership, low turnover, and strong sense of camaraderie. We care for patients with a wide range of acute medical needs, giving you the chance to grow your clinical skills in a supportive environment. With leaders who are present and deeply invested in your success, this is a night shift that offers stability, impact, and community.

     

    • Schedule: 12 HR (Day; 7a - 7p) or (Night; 7p - 7a) 
    • Department: Emergency Room (ED)
    • Location: PENDERMEMORIAL - Pender Memorial Hospital; Burgaw North Carolina 
     
    What We're Looking For:
    • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
    • Experience: 1 year of Nurse Aide experience. Experience in basic patient care, phlebotomy, EKG in an emergency or outpatient setting highly desirable, preferred. 
    • Licensure/Certification: Nurse Aide I, required. American Heart Association BLS required. Some departments have additional advanced CPR requirements as listed on staff annual education record, required. Phlebotomy Certification, required. 
    • Additional Skills (required): Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s) age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs.
    • Additional Skills (preferred): Knowledge of medical terminology
