Schedule: 12 HR (Day; 7a - 7p) or (Night; 7p - 7a) Department: Emergency Room (ED) Location: PENDERMEMORIAL - Pender Memorial Hospital; Burgaw North Carolina
What Were Looking For
Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Experience: 1 year of Nurse Aide experience. Experience in basic patient care, phlebotomy, EKG in an emergency or outpatient setting highly desirable, preferred. Licensure/Certification: • Nurse Aide I, required. • American Heart Association BLS required. • Some departments have additional advanced CPR requirements as listed on staff annual education record, required. • Phlebotomy Certification, required. Additional Skills (required): • Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s) age. • Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patients requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Additional Skills (preferred): • Knowledge of medical terminology
