Patient Ratios : 4:1 typically- medical, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds
Unit staffing description- Techs available- work in cardiac monitoring unit and the internal processing area, triage, Unit clerks days and nights
Type of equipment : baxter pumps, Client monitors
Documentation system: Cerner
Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend, can t commit to block scheduling, scheduling must meet the needs of the dept.
Floating policy: No floating outside of the ED but must be open to floating to all sections in the ED.
Patient Experience requirements: AIDET, Respectful behavior, Pt Experience to each patient, Boards updated with info and pt updated throughout visit

CPI before starting dateon hire
NIHSS before starting dateon hire
ENPC within 90 days of hire
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set: 2 years experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume > 100,000 visit ED. Previous HCA experience preferred.
Must have: 2 years experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in ER setting, teamwork mentality, ability to coach and give feedback in real time. Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED.
