Job Title: Emergency Department RN – Night Shift
Location: York, ME
Job Type: Contract – 13 Weeks (~3 Months)
Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3x12s | 36 Hours/Week
Additional Shift Info: Occasionally may need 1:00 PM – 1:30 AM shift depending on census; no call required.
About the Role:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week contract assignment in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department
Perform charge nurse duties and precept new staff when needed
Adapt to variable shift assignments based on patient census
Follow facility policies, procedures, and documentation standards
Requirements & Preferred Skills:
Active RN license in the State of Maine
Minimum 3 years of ER experience
BLS/ACLS certification required
PALS preferred
Previous charge nurse and preceptor experience required
