Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer Python and C
Contract Duration: 12 months to long term
Location: Oakville ON or Waterloo ON
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
T4 Only
Pay Rate Range : $50-60 /hr

Experience with Matlab/Simulink is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy embedded software solutions.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, designers, and engineering teams.
• Develop software architectures and determine appropriate technology stacks.
• Create and maintain software requirements and specifications.
• Implement testing strategies and quality processes.
• Support CI/CD, test-driven development, and Agile practices.
• Optimize software performance and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Implement security best practices, including encryption and data protection.

Preferred Qualifications

• Matlab, Simulink, and Stateflow development experience (3+ years).
• Systems Engineering experience using tools such as MagicDraw.
• Experience authoring system-level requirements.
• Embedded systems development experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
