This position involves caring for deceased remains with respect and performing tasks such as verification, embalming, restorations, dressing, styling, and cosmetics under supervision.
It requires adherence to licensing regulations, maintaining the preparation room, handling equipment and hazardous materials safely, assisting with inventory, and promoting a safe work environment.
**Minimum requirements:** High school diploma or equivalent, enrollment or graduation from mortuary science program, valid driver’s license, and compliance with licensing laws.
**Skills and abilities:** Acceptable driving record, ability to lift over 75 pounds, computer proficiency, compassion, communication, and problem-solving skills.
**Compensation:** $24/hour with comprehensive medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
