Seeking a Teacher Assistant for elementary students with moderate to severe disabilities in Walpole. Pay ranges from $22.00 to $26.00/hour based on experience and education. Schedule: M-F, 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Requirements include preferred early childhood certification, associate’s degree or relevant experience, and safety certifications (training provided). Must pass background checks and hold a valid driver’s license.
Under supervision, responsibilities involve implementing individualized lessons, developing behavior and life skills, documenting performance, building positive relationships, following schedules, implementing behavior plans, and ensuring student safety. Additional duties include teamwork, attending meetings, transporting students, and participating in training.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite is desired.
