Elementary Teacher - Art

This position is for an Elementary Teacher (Kindergarten - 5th Grade) responsible for delivering instruction based on district-approved curricula.

• Develops lesson plans, uses varied teaching strategies, and adapts instruction to meet student needs.
• Maintains a positive classroom environment, manages student behavior, and assesses academic and social progress.
• Communicates regularly with parents and collaborates with staff to support student success.
• Creates engaging learning environments, supervises out-of-class activities, and administers standardized tests.
• Participates in curriculum development, professional growth, and faculty committees.
• Requires knowledge of effective teaching practices, classroom management, assessment, and district policies.
• Must hold valid Arizona certification, fingerprint clearance, and meet physical requirements.

This exempt position offers an approved salary based on education and experience, with a 185 or 187-day contract, reporting to the school principal. The district is an equal opportunity employer.
