Elementary Teacher- 2nd Grade

This Elementary Teacher position (Kindergarten-5th Grade) is a full-time exempt role with a salary based on experience and education.

• Teaches and develops lesson plans aligned with district curriculum, utilizing various instructional strategies.
• Creates a positive learning environment, manages student behavior, and assesses academic and social progress.
• Communicates regularly with parents and collaborates with staff to support student needs.
• Maintains classroom displays, supervises out-of-class activities, and participates in curriculum development and committees.
• Requires knowledge of effective teaching, classroom management, assessment, and safety practices.
  
  
• Minimum qualifications include valid certification, fingerprint clearance, and assessments.
• Physical requirements include vision, hearing, speaking abilities, and capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
