    POSITION DESCRIPTION

    The Huron Valley Schools is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and innovative Elementary Teacher to fill a vacancy in the district. The program is supported by a teaching team that works collaboratively to develop and implement curriculum.

    Position Type: Instruction/Elementary

    Location: Elementary/District

    Salary: Per HVEA Contract

    Reports To: Principal

    Status: School Year 2026-2027

    Start Date: 08/25/2026

    Closing Date: Until filled

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Must hold a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
    • Must hold an Elementary Endorsement

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred

    LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICAL AND REASONING SKILLS: Ability to speak and write effectively. Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral format and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
