This position is for a Certified Special Education Teacher, available for the 2026-27 school year, with a start date of 07/01/26.
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree and the appropriate Kentucky certification, demonstrate effective communication and collaboration skills, and be capable of working effectively with students, parents, and staff.
The role involves creating a positive learning environment, developing lesson plans, providing individualized instruction, assessing student progress, maintaining records, and communicating with parents. Teachers will also manage classroom behavior, supervise students, participate in professional development, and collaborate with colleagues to meet students' diverse needs, including IEPs.
Terms include a 9-month salary schedule, with employment conditions approved by the district. Current employees must submit an internal transfer application by 05/22/26.
