This position is for a Certified Special Education Teacher starting in August 2026, with internal transfer applications due by May 11, 2026.
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree and the appropriate Kentucky certification, demonstrate effective communication and collaboration skills, and be capable of working with diverse learners.
The role involves creating a positive learning environment, developing lesson plans, providing individualized instruction, assessing student progress, maintaining accurate records, and communicating with parents.
The teacher will foster appropriate behavior, protect student safety, participate in professional development, collaborate with colleagues, supervise activities, and perform related duties.
This is a 9-month position with a salary approved by the district.
