SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Valid California Teaching Credential authorized to teach Music
2. Appropriate ELL Authorization (CLAD or Equivalent)
3. Ability to Pass DOJ Background/Fingerprint Check
4. Tuberculosis Clearance

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

1. Training in Orff-Schulwerk
2. Knowledge, proficiency, and integration of Instructional Technology
3. Ability to integrate creative movement, dance, song, vocal technique, listening, pitched/non-pitched percussion, music literacy, recorder skills, solfege, and multicultural approaches.
4. Strong organization, advocacy, and community relations skills.

SALARY

• Placement on Certificated Salary Schedule: $56,546 - $92,736
• $80%: $45,236 - $74,188
• 15 years creditable experience may be accepted upon verification.
• Masters Degree: +2 on base annual salary
• Doctorate Degree: Additional +2 on base annual salary
• National Board Certification: Additional $1,000 prorated
