The School District of New Berlin is looking for a caring, energetic, and responsible individual to join the Ronald Reagan Elementary team as a Lunch/Recess Supervisor. This part-time, hourly position follows the school-year calendar, requiring availability Monday, Wednesay and Fridany on student school days from 11:10 am - 1:10 pm.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure Safety: Actively supervise students in the cafeteria, on the playground, and during indoor recess to maintain a secure and hazard-free environment.
Promote Positive Behavior: Encourage positive social interactions, kindness, and inclusion among students.
Manage Student Conduct: Proactively and fairly enforce school and playground rules, using positive reinforcement and restorative practices to guide student choices.
Assist Students: Help students with lunchroom needs (opening containers, finding seating, etc.) and basic first-aid for minor playground scrapes (referring to a health aide as needed).
Mediate Conflicts: Help students resolve minor disagreements peacefully and appropriately.
Maintain Cleanliness: Supervise and assist with cafeteria cleanup, ensuring tables are wiped and the area is ready for the next group.
Communicate Effectively: Report any significant incidents, behavioral concerns, or safety issues to the building Principal or other designated staff.
