We are seeking an Elementary School Teacher to provide specialized education for students with diverse needs at J.D. Hall Alternative School for the 2026-2027 school year.
Primary responsibilities include developing and adapting curricula and instructional materials to support students' intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. The teacher will work in various capacities—self-contained, team, departmental, or itinerant—to meet individual student needs.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree from an accredited university, a valid Texas teaching certificate with special education endorsements, and knowledge of ARD and IEP processes.
Applicants should have knowledge of special needs, curriculum adaptation, and effective communication skills. Prior student teaching, approved internship, or related experience is required.
This position remains open until filled, with an anticipated start in the 2026-2027 school year.
