Sartori Elementary K-5 STEM School seeks a Literacy Coach to support our amazing community of adult and student learners. The primary responsibility of the role is to provide ongoing professional development in Literacy to staff, lead the LAP program and support the paraprofessionals in their delivery of Tier II intervention curriculum, and serve on the instructional leadership team to provide the school and the school principal expertise and support for the learning of our staff as a whole. This is a critical role that will require both classroom teaching experience and leadership experience. We seek candidates who are learners first and are ready to engage staff in professional growth. The relationship the coach/facilitator is collaborative, reflective, and supports the implementation of the Renton Innovation Zone (RIZ) vision. They will have extensive knowledge of the Workshop model, Lucy Calkins, UFLI, and the direction Literacy instruction is going nationally.

Qualified candidates must hold or be eligible for Washington State Teacher Certification with elementary endorsement.
