Position OverviewChrist Community Lutheran School is seeking a manager to lead our elementary after-school program (Charger Club) serving Kindergarten–4th Grade students. This role provides a safe, engaging, and well-supervised environment where students can unwind, play, and build relationships at the end of the school day. The Charger Club Manager fosters a positive, Christ-centered atmosphere while supporting students in demonstrating respect, responsibility, and kindness toward others. The program currently emphasizes supervised free play—including playground time, gym activities, arts and crafts, and board games—with the opportunity for the manager to further develop and implement structured enrichment experiences. Structure- Oversees daily aftercare program for 30–50 elementary students
- Supervises and actively engages with students across multiple activity settings
- Directs and mentors a small team of assistants (typically high school students)
- Coordinates activities, transitions, and student flow throughout the afternoon
- Communicates with families and school staff as needed
Schedule- Part-time position following the school day
- Monday–Friday: 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM
- Follows the school-year calendar
QualificationsQualified candidates will demonstrate: - Active membership in a Christian church (Lutheran preferred)
- Strong experience working with elementary-age children in group settings
- Ability to confidently manage and engage large groups of students (ages 5–10)
- Experience leading, supervising, or mentoring student workers or assistants
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Alignment with the CCLS mission, code of conduct, and statement of faith
Compensation- Hourly position: $20–$23 per hour
- School-year schedule with holidays and breaks aligned to the academic calendar
