Title: Electrophysiology Technician (EP)

Job Type: Perm
Shift: 10 hour days

Job Description:   
  • The Special Procedures Tech I assists physicians with arteriograms and or other specialized radiologic procedures under sterile technique in diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • In doing so, prepares examination area, positions patients for procedures and operates complex radiology equipment in accordance with established techniques and routines.
  • Assists physicians as necessary by passing materials, taking exposures as directed and more.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
Required:
  • Associates
  • IEMA licensure
  • Radiology and ARRT registered
  • BLS - American Heart Associaton
  • Completion of 2 years training at an approved school of radiologic technology
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred:
  • Previous patient care experience
