Electronics Technician

Job Title: Technician

Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00

Hours: 40.0 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Construct wiring harnesses from electrical schematics for aircraft systems.
• Route wiring harnesses in large electronics racks and terminate to rear disconnect panels.
• Mount items in racks, ensuring mechanical stability and proper ventilation.
• Assemble, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft electronic systems based on schematics and engineering drawings.
• Fabricate wire harnesses, test boxes, and laboratory test equipment as required.
• Diagnose electrical and electronic issues using diagnostic tools and methodologies.
• Follow safety protocols and quality standards during assembly and troubleshooting processes.

• Experience with aircraft wiring, constructing wiring harnesses from schematics.
• Mechanical skills for mounting and routing wiring in electronic racks.
• Strong electronic and electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Previous experience fabricating and terminating military wiring harnesses and connectors.
• Experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics with minimal guidance.
• Mechanical and general fabrication skills.
