Are you tech-savvy with a knack for solving technical problems? We are seeking detail-oriented individuals for a seated Electronics Technical Specialist role. This is a hands-on, diagnostic-focused position where you will use your technical expertise to identify and resolve issues with consumer electronics.

 

SHIFT AVAILABILITY & COMPENSATION

Shift/Schedule/Pay Range

1st Shift

Mon–Fri (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

$16.50 – $19.00/hr

2nd Shift (upcoming)

Mon–Fri (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM)

$19.00 – $22.50/hr

POSITION OVERVIEW: TROUBLESHOOTING & DIAGNOSTICS

You will be responsible for diagnosing and fixing a variety of consumer electronics, including cellphones, laptops, and small home technology appliances.

  • Expert Troubleshooting: Use onsite computer systems and diagnostic software to look up detailed product specifications and repair guides to identify hardware or software failures.
  • Technical Diagnostics: Apply experience in testing electronics to pinpoint specific faults and determine the necessary repair steps.
  • Technical Processing: Perform "triage" on devices, conducting the physical work required to repair, refurbish, or prepare units for resale.
  • Data Integrity: Execute secure, professional data-wiping protocols to protect sensitive information on all devices.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Diagnostic Experience: Prior experience in technical troubleshooting or diagnosing electronic devices is required.
  • Technical Literacy: You must be comfortable navigating computer software to research complex product issues and follow technical manuals.
  • Application Process: This client requires a professional resume and a formal interview.
  • Focus & Patience: This is a seated, desk-based position for the full 8-hour shift. We are looking for candidates who can maintain high focus and precision while working on delicate hardware.

SITE ENVIRONMENT

  • Climate-Controlled: A clean, professional, and temperature-controlled facility.
  • Stationary Work: You will work at your own designated metal desk; minimal heavy lifting is involved.
  • Security: To protect client data and high-value tech, personal electronics and phones are not permitted on the production floor.
