Electronics Repair Technician – Power Supplies (1st Shift)

We are hiring an experienced Electronics Repair Technician for our client in West Chester PA.  The selected candidate will have strong troubleshooting and soldering skills to support the repair and testing of power supplies, radio antennas, amplifier transmitters, and electronic circuit boards. Candidates must have technical education or equivalent hands-on experience in electronics repair, including troubleshooting to the component level and a solid understanding of electronic circuits.

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Responsibilities
  • Use soldering and de-soldering equipment to repair, modify, and replace components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) and STB units.  Perform thru-hole and surface-mount soldering repairs.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic components and assemblies to the component level.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues involving power supplies, RF equipment, and electronic circuitry.
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Repair and maintain radio antennas and amplifier transmitters.
  • Maintain quality standards and ensure accurate documentation/data entry.
  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe.
  • Assist with training and supporting other technicians as needed.
Requirements
  • Technical education in electronics or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with thru-hole and surface-mount soldering.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing PCBs at the component level.
  • Experience repairing power supplies is required.
  • RF (radio frequency) knowledge and troubleshooting experience required.
  • Strong understanding of electronic circuits, component theory, and schematics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electronic assemblies to the component level.
  • Electronics certification preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a Technical Aptitude Test.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and navigation of applications such as MS Office.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English; all training and team communication will be conducted in English.
  • Safety-toe shoes are required.
Pay $22 - $23 / hour W2 Depending on Experience
