Job Summary
We are seeking an Electronics Production Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Longmont, CO. This role is ideal for a hands-on electronics professional who enjoys technical troubleshooting, precision calibration, and working with advanced electronic instruments in a manufacturing and production environment.
The Electronics Production Technician will support alignment, calibration, programming, troubleshooting, and repair activities for electronic instruments and PCB assemblies. This is a strong opportunity for candidates with electronics training, military electronics or avionics experience, or early-career technical manufacturing experience who want to build long-term expertise in a stable, high-quality production setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform laser, optic alignment, and calibration of electronic instruments within an assigned product family.
- Troubleshoot and repair electronic instruments using logical diagnostic methods and established procedures.
- Program, test, and troubleshoot PCB assemblies to support production and repair requirements.
- Read and follow written, graphic, pictorial, and schematic-based procedures to complete technical production work.
- Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials, including trend observations and disposition recommendations.
- Maintain quality documentation and follow established safety, quality, and process control procedures.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Perform alignment, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of laser installations and electronic instruments.
- Program and troubleshoot PCB assemblies in a production environment.
- Maintain quality documentation and support non-conforming material reporting.
- Follow technical procedures and contribute to safe, efficient production operations.
- Associate degree in Electronics, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a very closely related field, or military electronics or avionics specialty experience.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant electronics production, technical manufacturing, laser calibration, troubleshooting and repair experience preferred.
- Ability to read analog and digital circuit schematic diagrams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and follow written, graphic, and pictorial procedures.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and ability to work effectively in a structured production environment.
- Ability to follow policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Calibration experience.
- Laser or optics alignment experience.
- Experience working with electronic instruments, PCB assemblies, or technical production processes.
- Prior military electronics or avionics background.
