About the Role
Guide technicians and new hires in the fundamentals of electronics assembly. You’ll coordinate hands-on training, coach to best practices, and support a learning culture across the shop floor.
A Day in the Role
- Facilitate practical sessions on precise soldering techniques.
- Demonstrate methods for basic electrical troubleshooting and fault isolation.
- Model safe, efficient mechanical assembly practices.
- Coordinate onboarding, cross-training, and small-group workshops.
- Reinforce shop math essentials used in measurements and part counts.
- Help learners interpret blueprints, schematics, and simple drawings.
What You Bring
- Proficiency in soldering.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Strong mechanical assembly skills.
- Experience recruiting and training.
- Solid shop math skills.
- Comfort reading blueprints.
