    Job DescriptionResponsible Product Engineer – lead the development and certification of the Flight Computer (FC) on the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) program.Location: This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near Lockheed Martin Space facility in Sunnyvale, CA or Littleton, CO. Office full-time with a flexible 9x80 schedule.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.Experience in development of Analog or Digital Electronic circuitry.Experience as a Responsible Engineer or technical lead of analog and/or digital electronics.Key ActivitiesWork on a cross-functional team in the development and certification of a supplier avionics product.Participate in engineering reviews, Engineering Material Review Board (EMRB) hardware discrepancy decisions, and Failure Review Board (FRB) as required.Resolve test anomalies through troubleshooting and root cause analysis.Support generation of End Item Data Package for Product Certification, and integration of assemblies into next higher assembly.Manage risk and identify mitigation plans to meet productivity, quality, cost, schedule, and mission success objectives.Required ExperienceExperience in a Responsible Engineer / Product Lead role for analog and digital electronics.Experience working with subcontractors and sub-tier suppliers.Familiarity with other engineering processes, disciplines and subject matter experts.Familiarity with processes on failure investigation (root cause analysis, Failure Review Boards, etc.).Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.Experience in different phases of aerospace electronic component development cycle.Experience interacting with peers, management and government customers.Proficiency in presentations and in written communications.5+ years of professional experience.Desired SkillsExperience as an Electronics Product Engineer in efforts to certify avionics hardware and its interfaces to other systems, ready for flight.Experience in integration of electronics between the flight systems, MGSE, EGSE, processing equipment, test fixturing, and other external interfaces.Experience developing integration and test plans while supporting both system and subsystem integration test execution, including environmental and ground testing.Proficient presentation skills and associated presentation tools.Knowledge of subsystem/system requirements and process.Successfully tested multiple CCA types.Material Review Board (MRB) certified in at least one line of business (LOB).Ability to interpret and create electrical schematics.Experience and missile/aerospace-related education/background.System performance monitoring and evaluation experience.Electrical troubleshooting skills.Experience with test and measurement equipment.Mentor Graphics, ORCAD, Zuken or comparable drawing package.Other Important InformationBy applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match.Ability to work remotelyOnsite full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.#J-18808-Ljbffr
