Electronics Engineer III, Electrical Ground Support Equipment

LocationThis position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Sunnyvale CA. The job requires a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full‑time.ResponsibilitiesDesign console level, box level, and board level equipment used to stimulate and measure components and functionality of space vehicles.Take ownership of the design, production, deployment, and operation of complex test equipment.Qualifications3+ years of professional experience in electronics engineering.Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.Professional working knowledge of circuit design and analysis.Working knowledge of lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, signal generators, spectrum analyzers.Significant experience with the design, development and integration of Automated Test Equipment or Special Test Equipment.Familiarity and knowledge of Power Systems design.Strong background in cross‑discipline systems engineering practices including requirements development/maintenance, architecture, hardware/software design, integration and verification.Desired SkillsDoD Secret clearance is a plus.Security ClearanceThis position requires a Secret clearance and US Citizenship . No clearance is required to start, but you must obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.Schedule9x80 schedule with every other Friday off. The position is onsite full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.Pay & BenefitsAnnual base salary range: $85,500 – $150,765 in California, Massachusetts, New York (excluding major metro areas) and $98,300 – $170,315 in major metropolitan areas. Salary depends on final work location.
