We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as an Electronics/Controls Specialist. This position will be located in Rolla, MO.

Summary:
The Electronics/Controls Specialist supports the installation, maintenance, and optimization of control systems and instrumentation in a high-precision chemical manufacturing environment for the semiconductor industry. This role ensures reliable operation of process equipment by troubleshooting electrical and control issues, performing calibrations, and assisting with system upgrades. Specialists collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to improve equipment performance, uptime, and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the installation, wiring, and initial configuration of electronic control systems, sensors, and instrumentation.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs on electrical and control-related equipment under guidance.
  • Assist in the calibration and verification of pressure, temperature, and flow sensors to support process control.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance tasks such as inspections, connector tightening, and sensor checks.
  • Record maintenance actions, calibration data, and equipment performance in logs and work order systems.
  • Perform basic electrical measurements using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
  • Follow all site-specific and industry-standard safety practices, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), PPE usage, and chemical safety procedures.
  • Support equipment commissioning under supervision of senior specialists and engineers.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations personnel to identify and report abnormal system behavior.
Education & Credentials:
  • High School diploma and 2+ years related experience or
  • Associate’s or vocational degree in electrical engineering technology, electronics, controls, or related field or
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience with chemical equipment or a chemistry-related background preferred.
