PENDING CONTRACT AWARDJob Title Electronic Technician IILocation FRCASE NAS JRB New Orleans LATask DescriptionELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN II BLS 17-3023 SCA 23182Function Applies basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturers manuals or similar documents. Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence in selecting tools testing instruments and is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices. Applies electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge usually under the direction of engineering staff to design build repair adjust and modify electrical components circuitry controls and machinery for subsequent evaluation and use by engineering staff in making engineering design decisions.This technician works under immediate supervision and achieves technical guidance as required from supervisor or higher-level technician.Required experience Have three 3 years aviation experience in electronics maintenancerepairRequired education High school diploma or General Education Degree GED. Shall be agraduate from a two 2 year Electronics Technician resident course at an accredited institute.Compensation41.72hour Other CompensationEmployees who elect to waive health insurance coverage may elect to receive an opt-out of 4.57 per hour for up to 40 hours per week.
