Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Technician 3 to support its Avionics Lab team. This role involves hands-on work with advanced electronic systems, including testing, assembly, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mission-critical avionics equipment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality, reliable results.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electronic systems, components, and equipment
• Diagnose and repair circuit boards, wiring, and electronic assemblies at the component level
• Perform environmental and operational testing (ESS, vibration, thermal) to ensure compliance
• Identify and isolate malfunctions and implement corrective actions
• Conduct engineering tests and collect/report data accurately
• Document test results, repairs, and maintenance activities
• Perform complex IPC Class circuit card surface mount rework and self-inspection of solder quality
• Ensure compliance with FOE/FOD, ESD, and quality/safety standards

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of related experience OR
• Equivalent training from a technical trade school or military electronics program (4 years)
• Experience supporting AS9100 compliance and audits
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with surface mount soldering, digital/analog circuits, or embedded electronics
• Strong component-level troubleshooting expertise
• Certifications such as:
• IPC-A-610 Class III (Surface Mount)
• IPC J-STD-001 (Space)
• IPC-WHMA-620 (Space)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Certified IPC Trainer (CIT)
