Electronic Controls Technicians (ECTs) are PLC technicians responsible for all factory electrical, electronic, and equipment controls, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and production efficiency. ECTs modify, troubleshoot, and repair production electronic components including machine controls, robots, HMIs, PLCs, motors, drives, and communication equipment.
They must apply safety standards, interpret electrical circuits, read/edit PLC ladder logic, modify CAD electrical/mechanical drawings, and be proficient with Windows OS. ECTs collaborate with operators to diagnose issues, support preventive maintenance, train operators, and process work orders. They also troubleshoot specialized equipment such as X-rays, AGVs, and vendor-specific controls. WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:
Hourly Rate- $37.94, plus shift differential Schedule: Monday-Friday core hours, some weekends Shift: 3rd Shift, 12am-8am 401k with company match Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) Insurance eligibility begins on 31st day of employment 11 paid holidays Sign on Bonus: $5,000. ($2,000-30 days, $2,000-6 months, $1,000 -9 months)
