- 2+ years of soldering experience

- Proven ability to read schematics and blueprints
- Electrical or Mechanical assembly experience is desired

FULL DESCRIPTION:Our company is looking for a highly motivated individual with soldering experience down to 0201 size components and fine pitch ICs, who will be able to assist in electronic assembly and soldering tasks. These tasks require a high level of dexterity and attention to detail. An IPC soldering certification is preferred but not required.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Pick-and-place machine programming and setup experience, including BOM import, feeder mapping, vision calibration, and first-article inspection strongly desired
- Hand soldering/ desoldering experience, with 0201-sized components and fine-pitch ICs, SMT and Through-Hole
- Good dexterity and steady hands
- Working knowledge of adhesives and chemicals associated with assembly: mixing techniques, pot life, etc.
- Can read and understand assembly drawings, assembly instructions, and datasheets
- Working understanding of precision hand and measuring tools: calipers, micrometers, screwdrivers, precision tweezers etc.
- Maintain clean and safe work environment to facilitate efficient assembly procedures
The selected candidate will also possess:
- Basic PCB design skills in any of the following: Altium, OrCad, Eagle, KiCad, etc.
- IPC soldering certification – training may be offered to obtain the certification if not already held
- Experience working under a microscope with components smaller than 0402 surface mount components
- PSpice/LT-Spice experience for simulation of simple circuits
- Multi-Layer PCB design experience in Altium, both schematic and layout
- The desire to learn advanced microelectronic assembly skills: Ex: Wire Bonding, Die Attach, Epoxy systems, Eutectic Soldering, etc.
