Summary:
Perform electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical technical duties in support of aerospace test systems and aircraft integration activities.
Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain aerospace equipment, components, devices, and systems.
Set up aircraft wiring and cabling systems for laboratory and aircraft test environments.
Interpret schematics, engineering drawings, and technical instructions to perform fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting tasks.
Conduct calibration, alignment, modification, repair, and replacement activities on electronic and electrical systems and components.
Support laboratory and aerospace engineering operations by documenting test data and maintaining technical equipment.
Requirements:
Aerospace industry experience required.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
Previous soldering experience.
Strong electronic and electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Experience with electronic and electrical fabrication and assembly.
Experience working in laboratory, aerospace, or manufacturing environments.
Mechanical and general fabrication experience.
Experience fabricating, routing, and terminating military wiring harnesses and connectors.
Ability to work independently while supporting aircraft test and integration activities.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
