Own the mission: reliability that protects food safety

In our high‑throughput environment, every adjustment matters. Your mission is to keep critical assets reliable—so products meet spec, audits go smoothly, and teams trust the line will run when it must.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Plan and perform intermediate preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on conveyors, ovens, freezers, pumps, motors, and packaging machinery.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults independently.
  • Lead changeovers that are swift, well‑documented, and aligned with sanitation protocols.
  • Calibrate sensors, scales, and automation profiles to sustain product quality.
  • Capture precise work histories in the CMMS; highlight chronic issues and potential failures.
  • Coach Maintenance Technician I team members; share methods that boost safety and uptime.
  • Coordinate with the parts room to ensure essential spares are on hand.
  • Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement to eliminate repeat downtime.

Technical terrain

  • Advanced troubleshooting: conveyors, ovens, freezers, baggers, wrappers, pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and ammonia systems.
  • Precision work on packaging and palletizing equipment—calibration, diagnostics, and optimization.
  • Utilities support: compressed air and refrigeration systems.

Non‑negotiables for safety and quality

  • Adhere to GMP, HACCP, and SQF frameworks in every maintenance activity.
  • Apply LOTO, confined‑space, and PPE practices rigorously.
  • Practice strict tool control; clean and sanitize tools/equipment when tasks are complete.
  • Prevent cross‑contact by ensuring clothing does not carry ingredients or allergens to other areas.
  • Leverage knowledge of OSHA standards and food‑industry legal requirements.
  • Partner with the Business Unit Manager and Quality Technical Manager to identify and resolve quality, food safety, and regulatory issues.
  • Keep the facility perpetually ready for customer and third‑party inspections.

Teamwork that powers results

  • Work closely with Production and Sanitation to ensure equipment readiness and reliability.
  • Assist with customer‑complaint reviews tied to equipment performance or sanitation.
  • Maintain spotless, organized maintenance areas and tool sets.

You’ll perform preventive, predictive, and emergency repairs on your assigned line—and adapt as needed for additional responsibilities directed by the Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
