Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Test Technician to perform set-up, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of complex mechanical and electro-mechanical systems at the system level.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform set-up, calibration, functional testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies at the system level.
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, diagrams, and technical specifications to determine and develop appropriate test and troubleshooting methods.
  • Execute system-level testing and rework of assemblies based on test results.
  • Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
  • Assist in selecting and setting up specialized test equipment and fixtures.
  • Perform daily assignments with minimal supervision; handle new tasks with general instructions.
  • Provide work direction and technical training to peers, as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in various locations.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly, system-level testing, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Proven experience testing digital and/or analog systems and components.
  • Proficient in the use of Oscilloscopes, Digital Volt Meters (DVMs), and other test and measurement instruments.
  • Skilled in handling fine adjustment tools, torque wrenches, calipers, and other precision instruments.
  • Ability to work in cleanroom environments.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends, as needed.
Skills:
  • Calibration of equipments

Education: 
  • Technical Certificate, associate’s degree, or military technical training in a relevant discipline. BSEE, BSEET, or equivalent engineering degree preferred.
