Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established medical device manufacturer in the Youngsville area who is looking for an Electrical Test Technician to join their team. This is a great direct hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics for the assembly of intricate devices with a focus on precision and attention to detail.
Conduct electrical testing, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of non-functioning components to include field returned units.
Perform soldering and bonding of electrical components and inspect soldering to ensure IPC standards.
Perform wire cutting, crimping, and stripping with hand tools or machinery.
Interface directly with customers to understand and address their technical concerns.
Utilize software tools for diagnostics, reporting, and documentation.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or degrees are a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Test Technician or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong ability to read and understand electrical and pneumatic schematics.
Hands-on experience with soldering and bonding of electrical components.
Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and tools.
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
