Electro‑Mechanical Repair Specialist — Restoration Equipment

If isolating tough faults and getting gear back online is your thing, this role is built for you. You’ll support commercial cleaning, restoration, and surface‑prep operations—owning the repair process end‑to‑end while earning $23.00–$25.00 per hour plus a monthly bonus.

What challenges will you solve?

• Track down intermittent issues using test equipment, structured troubleshooting, and manufacturer repair manuals.
• Decide on repair paths, document findings, and recommend additional service needs where appropriate.
• Balance quality and throughput to meet shop productivity targets without compromising standards.

Where your expertise applies

• Basic automotive systems and 2/3/4‑cylinder gasoline engines
• Truck mounted carpet cleaning units; portable carpet extractors
• Hard-surface floor cleaning machines; duct cleaning equipment
• Deodorizing equipment, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, air movers, HEPA vacuums

How you’ll engage

• Create service orders as equipment arrives and maintain accurate records.
• Build bids and present clear, professional estimates to customers.
• Communicate updates in person, by phone, and via email; schedule work through our appointment software.
• Coordinate workload with fellow technicians; align service timing with other store employees; order parts and work with vendors.
• Use and maintain shop tools correctly; keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

Qualifications to succeed

• Preferred: 2+ years in commercial cleaning/restoration equipment, small engine repair, pressure washer service, or automotive repair/maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record: No DUIs or Careless/Reckless driving on MVR within the last 3 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent; own a basic set of mechanic’s tools.
• Strong technical skill, mechanical aptitude, detail orientation, and rapid diagnostic/problem‑solving ability.
• Safety commitment—use safety glasses, hearing protection, and appropriate PPE.
• Deliver timely, high‑quality work; lift 50+ lbs. regularly.
• Professional appearance and demeanor; solid written and verbal communication; basic computer skills.
• Occasional overtime required; bilingual English/Spanish is a bonus.

Compensation

$23.00 – $25.00 per hour + Monthly Bonus
