What You’ll Tackle
- Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across production equipment and facility systems to maximize availability.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults quickly to minimize disruption.
- Respond rapidly to breakdowns to protect throughput and ensure on-time delivery.
- Enhance and carry out PM programs that lift equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to inform effective repairs.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems and identify root causes—typically no programming required.
- Partner with production teams to spot recurring issues and implement durable fixes.
- Maintain precise work orders, logs, and records within CMMS systems.
- Champion safety, compliance, and continuous improvement on every task.
- Assist with installation, commissioning, and validation of new machinery and automation.
Bring This Background
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proven troubleshooting ability across mechanical and electrical domains.
- Hands-on experience with motors, drives, conveyors, and automated equipment.
- Ability to read and apply schematics and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with PLC systems for troubleshooting and fault isolation.
- Strong problem-solving mindset in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
- Flexibility to support nights or weekends as needed.
Preferred Edge
- Multi-craft capability (electrical + mechanical).
- Background in high-volume or highly automated manufacturing.
- Experience with CMMS tools and maintenance tracking.
- Exposure to Lean/continuous improvement initiatives.
