Clariant is currently hiring for three Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician openings to support the Catalyst business unit at the West Plant facility in Louisville, KY. We have one position on an 8-hour day shift (Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM) and two positions on a rotating 12-hour day shift (6:00 AM-6:00 PM). The 12-hour schedule rotates between the beginning and end of the workweek on a quarterly basis but remains on the day shift. The hourly pay range for this position is $41.28-$45.20, with the starting rate determined based on qualifications, directly related experience, and overall fit for the role. Candidates with extensive relevant experience may be considered for a starting rate toward the higher end of the range. In addition, this position is eligible for a $2,000 sign-on bonus, payable after four months of successful employment.
In this role, you will be responsible for diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance of the West Plant catalyst equipment and related industrial systems. This includes performing electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting motors and other production equipment, disassembling, realigning, and reinstalling components, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
