Your day, your impact

Roll out at sunrise, stock your service vehicle, and hit the road to a customer site somewhere in the Midwest. You’ll plug into a forklift’s diagnostic port before coffee cools, tune a conveyor’s drive after lunch, and talk a warehouse manager through timelines and next steps before closing out meticulous service notes. Between visits, you’ll sync with our in-house tech support and parts teams to keep repairs moving and customers productive—all while upholding strict safety practices.

What you’ll tackle

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain material handling equipment on-site (forklifts, conveyors, pallet jacks, automated systems).
  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance to prevent unplanned downtime.
  • Install or assist with commissioning new equipment at customer facilities.
  • Capture accurate service reports, work orders, and maintenance logs.
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, timelines, and technical recommendations.
  • Follow safety standards and company policies at all times while on customer premises.
  • Coordinate with internal technical support and parts teams to resolve complex issues.

What you bring

  • High school diploma or GED; technical/trade school training preferred.
  • 2+ years working with mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems (material handling experience is a plus).
  • Strong troubleshooting instincts and analytical problem-solving.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Willing and able to travel approximately 50% across the Midwest; overnight trips may be needed.
  • Professional communication and customer service skills.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in varied environments (warehouses, distribution centers, and similar sites).

Core proficiencies

  • Mechanical troubleshooting
  • Electrical troubleshooting
  • Electrical repair
  • Reading and interpreting electrical schematics
  • Equipment installation
