Electro-Mechanical Appliance Repair Specialist

Your mission
Restore essential household appliances and earn customer trust by diagnosing accurately, repairing effectively, and explaining solutions clearly.
A day in this role might include
- Visiting several homes to troubleshoot and repair refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and microwaves.
- Recommending value-added options that make homes cleaner, more comfortable, and protected.
- Keeping your truck tidy and parts stocked so the next job is set up for success.
- Pitching in with other duties as assigned.

What it takes to excel
- High school diploma or GED.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort using diagnostic and repair tools; prior appliance repair experience preferred.
- Ability to follow documented processes and deliver quality results.
- Smartphone skills (including ordering parts).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate an automatic transmission vehicle.
- Ability to travel up to 100% and work variable hours with required overtime.
- Clear written and verbal communication; able to read, write, and speak English and apply technical documentation to solve problems.
Physical capabilities
- Constant: lift/carry/push/pull up to 20 lbs; reach outward; handle/finger objects; stand; walk; sit; type.
- Frequent: bend, squat, kneel, twist, turn, stoop, climb, crawl; lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Occasional: reach above shoulder; lift/carry/push/pull up to 100 lbs.
Experience and travel
- Experience: 1–2 years.
- Travel requirement: Road Warrior (75% or more); work is based in Toledo, OH, United States.
