Your impact

  • Keep the fleet performance‑ready through meticulous assessment, repair, and testing.
  • Minimize downtime by identifying failures quickly and replacing parts efficiently.
  • Protect quality with thorough documentation and asset history reporting.
  • Support smooth operations by assisting with shipping/receiving and paperwork accuracy.

What you will do

  • Perform installation/setup support, diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on Tri Tool products.
  • Set up and run functional and verification tests to confirm final operability.
  • Own final repair quality, including proper repackaging for return shipment or restock.
  • Evaluate rental/lease units before shipping for readiness and safety.
  • Inspect and repair returned or warranty equipment; document work performed and report any obvious misuse.
  • Assist with unloading incoming shipments and loading outgoing equipment.
  • Create accurate packing slips and shipping paperwork for traceability.
  • Maintain a clean, safe facility and support fellow technicians as needed.
  • Provide backup to the lease manager and contribute to special projects or other assigned tasks.
  • Offer troubleshooting and maintenance support in-house and occasionally in the field.

Must‑have qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical repair.
  • Hands‑on experience with hydraulic systems; ability to read hydraulic schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Knowledge of TIG and MIG welding arc characteristics.
  • Demonstrated ability to safely operate power tools and forklifts with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office and Excel; familiarity with ERP software.
  • Customer service skills to respond promptly and escalate complex issues appropriately.
  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Strong verbal/written communication and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities; solid organizational and problem‑solving skills with good judgment.

Nice to have

  • Advanced understanding of electronic and hydraulic schematics and wiring diagrams.

Education & credentials

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Technical/other training preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License (may be required based on local, state, or contract requirements).
  • Technical/vocational training a plus.

Physical demands

  • Maneuver around equipment; bend, kneel, stoop, and reach.
  • Lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Climb ladders or step stools.
  • Monitor gauges, controls, and computer systems.

Work setting

Manufacturing and warehouse environment with forklifts, material handling, and production equipment, plus an office setting. Noise and weather exposure (heat, cold, wind, rain) may occur depending on conditions.
